How to become a PA
Please talk to Sabrina if you are interested in being a Program Assistant.
A commitment does need to be made to be available for the same day\session each week for a ten week program. If you will be absent please let Sabrina know and try and find a replacement PA. Program Assistants need to be patient, enjoy working with children , be willing to work with different ages and abilities of skaters and be under the supervision of different coaches. PA's can be current or former Figure Skaters, and must have reached a level strong enough to work with the young skaters in our club in addition to being mature enough to handle this role. Duties include helping skaters on and off the ice, handing out stickers and other incentives, collecting name tags, demonstrating skills, playing games, setting up supplies and taking supplies off the ice, assisting those skaters who need a little more assistance, reinforcing the coaches instructions, etc.
We are always looking for new PA'S - and welcome university students and adults who are former skaters. For more information, please email : firstname.lastname@example.org
