Our Club: Skate Regina is Regina’s largest club with over 900 members registered in Pre-CanSkate, CanSkate, CanPower, Junior Prep, STAR Skate and Competitive.
Skate Regina is a year-round training centre offering ice approximately 20 hours per week. We offer full on-ice and off-ice programming.
Requirements:
Only coaches with the following professional coaching requirements will be considered:
- CanSkate Certified or Higher Certification
- CanPowerSkate (not mandatory)
- Police Clearance Check
- First Aid Certificate
- Making Ethical Decisions
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Be an integral part of the growth of Skate Regina and the development of our athletes
- Work closely with Skate Regina Coaching Group
- Work in a team environment
Skills - The Candidate will need to:
- Have strong leadership and management skills
- Be enthusiastic and personable
- Enjoy working with children
- Have strong teaching and interpersonal skills
- Have strong communication skills with fellow coaches, executive, parents, and students

Skate Regina - Skating Director

Registration/Communication Coordinator
Skate Regina is currently seeking a Registration/Communication Coordinator.
This is a part-time employment position with a monthly salary. Weekly hours will
fluctuate based on club needs. The role and responsibilities of this position are as
follows:
Administration Duties
1. Manage all inquiries to Skate Regina (either phone, mail, or email),
responding or forwarding to the applicable person.
2. Monitor and ensure all registrations are processed through the Skate
Regina website, including, but not limited to:
o updating skill level in database
o ensure credit card payments are applied to accounts
o provide receipts/confirmation to members
o forward cash & cheques to the Treasurer of Skate Regina
o follow-up on unpaid account balances
o processing manual registration for subsidy funding applications
3. Provide reports as requested (Skate Canada, Skate Canada
Saskatchewan, City of Regina, and within Skate Regina).
4. Create and maintain seasonal registrations and other events determined
by the club on the Skate Regina website.
5. Register Skate Regina, Board Members, and Club members on the Skate
Canada database as well as update Board Org. Management.
6. Provide CanSkate Team Lead coaches with a registration list for the
preparation of name tags, and certificates.
7. Maintain and update all computer systems and licensing.
Communication Duties
1. Notices for Assessment Days, Registration packages, Annual General
Meeting, etc.
2. Manage Skate Regina website updates.
3. Work with the Skating Director to create session brochures.
4. Attend Board meetings and provide a monthly report for those meetings.
5. Create and distribute monthly newsletter.
Qualifications - the successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
• Proven organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Proficient verbal & written communication skills in English
• Ability to stay on task and follow directions
• Integrity
• Exemplary customer service skills
• Extensive computer knowledge using Microsoft Office and other websites
This is a part-time position valid until June 30, 2026, with the possibility for annual
renewals. The monthly salary for this position ranges between $800 to $900
(based on experience and qualifications).
Available to begin July 1, 2025 or as soon as possible.
